Construction has finished and Seamen's Society has now moved to a new home located at 50 Bay Street on Staten Island near the Ferry Terminal.

2006 has been a year of extraordinary accomplishment for Seamen’s Society:

• As mentioned above, we have moved into our new home at 50 Bay Street
• Seamen’s has expanded its foster care services dramatically in the past year.
• We have achieved recognition for strengthened foster care services from Children’s Services (ACS).
• For the ninth consecutive year, we have received the highest rating for our Family Day Care Services.
• Our newly established run-away program is now open 24/7 to help children in crisis.
• Our Ninth Annual Scholarship Dinner provided 21 Society young people with scholarship assistance.

As we enter this 161 st year of service to children in the NYC community, we thank all of you for your support. Your generosity is recorded here and will impact the lives of our young people. At Seamen’s, children and families rebuild their lives, discovering new possibilities and opportunities for a brighter future.

A minimum donation of $250 is necessary to qualify for this special tax credit.
